Fife Community Use facilities are open!

In line with the latest Government and SportScotland guidance, we are supporting local community clubs and groups with the resumption of physical activity both outdoors and indoors.

Our in-house programme of classes and courses is scheduled to re-commence in 2021 ‚Äď further details to follow.

Please contact your local Community Use venue for further information or visit our social media outlets for updates.

Online Community Booking Solution

We’re making it easier for you to search, book and pay for your activities, classes and courses at your local community centres, community use facilities and leisure centres.

The new solution will be implemented on a phased roll-out basis. From July 2020, bookings for groups and clubs can be provisionally made online by you and confirmed by staff. You will still be able to visit staff at your local venue and book in person.

For bookings prior to July, please complete the current booking form as usual. From October 2020 we will introduce online bookings for local community halls and centres across Fife.

Daytime Learning

Rough description to engage customers:

Community Use is launching a Daytime Learning programme in Dunfermline.

The initiative is targeting older learners but everyone is welcome.

The Daytime programme has been developed for those learners who find it challenging to access the many activities we deliver in the evenings.

Courses will take place in the heart of our communities at Baldridgeburn, Touch and Townhill Community Centres. These areas have been chosen as statistics show that over 30% of the population there are over 60 years old.

Activities will include:

Guitar/Ukulele                                         Painting & Drawing

Flower Arranging                                    Crochet

Japanese Brush Calligraphy                  Upholstery

French Beginners                                   Spanish Beginners

Creative Writing

The Daytime Learning programme will commence from week beginning the 28th October 2019.
